Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) needed in Orlando, FL
ProCare Therapy is seeking a passionate Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) starting now through the end of the school year in the Orlando, FL area. As a ProCare employee, you will be paid on a weekly basis and be surrounded with a strong level of support on staff. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with wonderful colleagues and students. Daily Tasks:
? Provide specialized lessons (e.g., braille, mobility, assistive tech).
? Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff on IEPs.
? Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods.
? Teach orientation and mobility skills.
? Support assistive technology use for learning.
Requirements:
? Bachelor's degree or higher in a concentrated subject
? Certification in Special Education
? Certification in Visual Impairments from recognized body
? Background Check
? Teaching experience
