Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join a supportive school team in Houston, TX. In this role, you will provide instruction and support to students with a variety of disabilities. Responsibilities include developing and implementing IEPs, collaborating with general education staff, maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations, and ensuring a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students.
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
• Active Texas Special Education teaching certification
• Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Experience in a school setting preferred
• Must meet all local and state requirements for school employment, including fingerprinting and background checks
