What You'll Be Doing:This is a travelling installations technician spot. CONUS and OCONUSMaintain company-required performance and maintenance records for identified equipmentPrepare reports of tests results and assessments of key electronic systems to ensure efficient operationsIdentify defects with various components and find suitable replacementsInstall, troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic equipment, including access control components, power supplies, cameras, and sensorsUse a variety of tools and equipment such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and multi-metersPull and terminate low voltage signal and network cablesInstall, fusion-splice, and terminate fiber optic cableRead and understand installation design plans, schematics, and manufacturers’ literature for electrical and electronic componentsWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:Two-year technical degree or accredited apprenticeship program or equivalent work experienceAt least two years in electronics technologyExperience with Closed Circuit Television (CCTV), intrusion detection systems (IDS, automated access control systems (ACS) and basis networkingExperience terminating alarm devices, cameras, access control devices and CAT-5 cablingMust be able to attain or have a minimum of a SECRET clearance, or the ability to obtain one.Must have a passportMust have valid drivers licenseWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:Experience on Vindicator, Lenel, and/or Bosch IDS and ACS systems is highly desired. Fiberoptic Certifications is a plus. Experience on large industrial / government projects is a plus.
