Security System Administrator (Contract) Job Code : AZ 9155 Client : Arizona Secretary of State (AZSOS) – IT Division Location : Phoenix, AZ (Local Only / Hybrid) Duration : 4-Month Contract Work Hours : Monday–Friday | 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM Positions : 1 Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Security System Administrator to support the implementation, hardening, and monitoring of enterprise security systems. This is a short-term, high-impact contract role ideal for professionals with strong hands-on security and infrastructure experience. Key Responsibilities Deploy, configure, and harden security systems (firewalls, IDS / IPS, endpoint protection) Manage Identity & Access Management (IAM) , user accounts, permissions, and authentication Monitor logs and alerts; investigate and respond to security incidents Apply system patches and updates; maintain security documentation Collaborate with internal IT teams to meet security requirements and deadlines ✅ Required Skills Intune administration experience Identity & Access Management (IAM) 3+ years of network security experience ⭐ Preferred Skills Palo Alto Firewall experience IDS / IPS tools CrowdStrike and / or Tanium Location Requirement Local to Phoenix, AZ only Must be able to work in a hybrid onsite environment Office Location : 1700 W Washington St., Phoenix, AZ 85012 Flexible work from home options available.
