Security Officer (Residential Housing)
United Protection Agency is actively hiring Professional Security Officers for our [Residential Housing] division.

THIS IS A FULL-TIME POSITION - We do not have part-time shifts - We do not have overnight shifts.
Area of Position: 3600 W Fillmore, Chicago, IL.
Your schedule will be similar to this:
ā¢ Mon - Fri: A combination of - 9 AM to 8 PM, or 9 AM to 3 PM or 3 PM to 8 PM.
ā¢ Sat: A combination of - 9 AM to 8 PM, or 9 AM to 3 PM or 3 PM to 8 PM.
ā¢ Sun: 9 am to 8 PM.
NOTE: You will have 2 days off a week unless overtime is required.
Please have the following Qualifications and Documents:
ā¢ High School Diploma or GED.
ā¢ 2 years of experience.
ā¢ Current Valid Perc card.
ā¢ 20hr or 40hr Security Certification.
ā¢ Be able to stand for extended times without issues.
ā¢ Be able to pass a fingerprint background check.
ā¢ Want to work 40 hrs. a week.
ā¢ Be Armed qualified is a plus [but is not necessary].
ā¢ Must be able to keep your personal life and your work life separate.
ā¢ Be able to complete a 90 probation.
ā¢ Be on time without fail.
ā¢ Have reliable transportation. Personal vehicle or public.
ā¢ Be able to remain professional at all times.
ā¢ Be able to stand your post until your relief arrives. Possibly 4 hours in an emergency?
Taking applications: Monday through Thursday, 11 AM. to 3 PM. SAME DAY INTERVIEWS ON TUESDAYS.
[Appearance matters. Please dress accordingly.]
Once hired, you will have a 2 hrs. non-paid orientation before you are given a schedule.
Starting Pay: $16 - $17 per hour. Bi-weekly pay schedule, no check holdback.
Paid Overtime: Time and a half overtime after 40 hrs. per week.
