Job Description:
As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for the safety and security of our clients’ properties. This includes patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel, securing access points, and responding appropriately to any security incidents or emergencies. Given the nature of our industry, this role requires a high level of alertness, professionalism, and integrity. Previous experience in security or law enforcement is an asset, but not a requirement, as we provide comprehensive training for all new hires.
Responsibilities:
– Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence
– Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property
– Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions
– Respond to emergencies to provide necessary assistance to employees and customers
– Protect the companys property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
Requirements:
– Proven experience as a security officer or guard
– Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
– Familiarity with report writing
– Excellent surveillance and observation skills
– Tech-savvy with experience in surveillance systems
– Trained in First Aid and self-defense
– Registered as a security officer
Educational Qualifications:
– High School Diploma or equivalent
– Security Officer Training Certificate
