What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter potential issues and report any suspicious activity. Maintain a visible presence throughout the location in accordance with post orders. Communicate and interact with visitors and/or residents in a professional and courteous manner. Document and report all incidents, observations, and/or irregularities in accordance with Allied Universal policies. Work environments and conditions may vary by location. Minimum Requirements: At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. A valid guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
