Security Consultant – OT Assessments

Job Description:
• Deliver and manage cybersecurity consulting projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and industry best practices
• Provide expert proactive and reactive services, including (but not limited to): Penetration testing, Threat hunting, Incident response, Security architecture and design reviews
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, clearly communicating risks, findings, and recommendations
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and services teams to ensure seamless project execution and continuous improvement of offerings
• Contribute to the development and refinement of Insane Cyber’s Corvus and Aesir service lines
• Ensure high-quality, timely delivery of services in line with project plans and client expectations
• Stay current on emerging threats, tools, and industry trends, applying new knowledge to client engagements

Requirements:
• 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity consulting or a similar client-facing role
• Proven success delivering security projects in a consulting or professional services environment
• Strong background in industrial cybersecurity, OT environments, and/or critical operations assurance
• Experience with red team assessment tools and offensive security techniques
• Experience with security frameworks and audits such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, or NIST 800-53 (a plus)
• Experience in a startup or fast-growing professional services organization (a plus)
• Ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Lua, etc.); experience with compiled languages (C/C++/Assembly) is a strong plus
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience
