Job Title: Security Analyst IntermediateLocation: Remote Job (EST) some travel onsite for meetings (about 2 weeks per year)Scope of the project: Medicaid security for payment processing systems.Daily Duties / Responsibilities: Vulnerability scanning and coordinating remediation with responsible teamsDeploy and manage EDRReview Firewall requestsResearch and assess newly released vulnerabilitiesAssist with incident response and investigationAssist with GRC assessmentsCreate alerts in SIEM based off data from various security toolsRequired Skills (rank in order of Importance):Ability to communicate vulnerability information to non-security personnelWorking knowledge of web applicationsWorking knowledge of databases such as Oracle, MSSQL, MySQLStrong understanding of networking (Nmap tool, Wireshark, and vulnerability scanning)Preferred Skills (rank in order of Importance):Experience performing searching in SIEMExperience with Palo Alto FirewallsExperience with NIST 800-53Required Education:Preferred Certification:Employers have access to artificial intelligence language tools (“AI”) that help generate and enhance job descriptions and AI may have been used to create this description.
