About the position We are seeking a dedicated Data Analyst to manage and analyze large loan portfolios, ensuring accurate bond and loan calculations from extensive legal documents. The role involves uploading data into an Access-like database and managing transactions, balancing daily cash, and reporting on monthly and quarterly cash positions for loan holders and investors. This position is a headcount addition aimed at business growth. Responsibilities • Extract bond and loan calculations from large legal documents. • Upload data into an Access-like database. • Manage large loan portfolios, some exceeding $1 billion. • Facilitate the buying and selling of loan portions to numerous investors. • Balance and reconcile daily cash transactions. • Report on monthly and quarterly cash positions for loan holders and investors. • Ensure data accuracy by pulling client information from documents. Requirements • BA or BS in Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance, or Statistics. Nice-to-haves • Experience in an analytical role or at a bank is beneficial.
