This role sits at the intersection of traditional SEO and emerging AI search technologies, helping Rho.co maximize visibility across both conventional search engines and new AI platforms.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies across programmatic, technical, and editorial domains.Create and execute strategies to improve ranking and visibility on AI platforms, including Perplexity, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Llama.Analyze search patterns across traditional and AI search engines to identify trends and opportunities.Oversee affiliate marketing programs related to search discoveryCollaborate with content and product teams to ensure all assets are optimized for both traditional and AI search discoveryManage and optimize our Profound instance for AI-powered search functionality.Monitor performance metrics and provide regular reporting on search visibility and traffic acquisitionStay current with emerging trends in AI search behavior and algorithm changesQualifications3+ years experience in SEO, search engine marketing, or other technical marketing disciplines.Knowledge of AI search platforms and how they differ from traditional search engines.Experience with search analytics tools and SEO softwareFamiliarity with affiliate marketing program managementStrong analytical skills and data-driven decision-makingExcellent communication skills to collaborate across teamsNice-to-HaveExperience with programmatic SEO implementation.Understanding of semantic search and natural language processing concepts.Experience with content strategy specifically for AI discovery.Our people are our most valuable asset. The salary range for this role is $110,000 - $150,000. Base salary may vary depending on relevant experience, skills, and business needs.
