Job Title: Scrum Master
Location: Plano, TX (Onsite)
Position Summary:
We are looking for an Agile Scrum Master with strong expertise in Scrum and Kanban processes to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with JIRA and Confluence, driving agile practices to deliver high-quality solutions. As a Scrum Master, you will facilitate smooth project execution, manage team dynamics, and help optimize processes to ensure timely and efficient delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
- Coach and support the team in agile best practices, ensuring adherence to Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
- Remove blockers and obstacles to ensure the team is able to meet their sprint goals.
- Work closely with product owners to ensure user stories and tasks are well-defined and prioritized.
- Maintain and update project status in JIRA, ensuring visibility of project progress.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery and continuous improvement.
- Use Confluence to document processes, share knowledge, and track project progress.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and Agile methodologies.
- Proficiency in using JIRA and Confluence for project management and collaboration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proven experience in leading and coaching teams in an agile environment.
- Ability to facilitate discussions and resolve conflicts in a constructive manner.
- Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) is a plus.
