The Scribe and Physician/Provider utilize two-way communication to ensure understanding and accuracy of essential information. The Scribe records symptoms, diagnoses and medical codes to ensure proper billing. He/she acts as the Physician/Provider’s liaison with laboratories and staff, ordering tests, diagnostics, or shots. He/she prints out the patient educational material which becomes a part of the patient’s permanent medical file.
