As a member of our Sales team, you will use your scientific knowledge and interpersonal skills to support great science by advising our academic and industrial partners to help drive their research forward. You’ll work to identify and acquire new customers to drive new business, while also managing existing accounts and relationships in your region. In this role you will have a broad and immediate impact on scientific discovery by leveraging your scientific expertise and strategic thinking to provide expert consultation and become a trusted ally in the scientific process.Please note that while this is a remote role (home office), there is travel within the territory required. Preference will be given to applicants in or willing to relocate to Houston.Job DescriptionDuties and ResponsibilitiesForecast, develop and execute territory strategies to achieve or exceed revenue target in assigned territory on a quarterly basisLeverage product knowledge to develop, grow and maintain customer relationships and perform product demonstrationsDevelop and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers within the territory, through prospecting, emails, phone calls, and virtual and in-person meetingsDocument communications and keep the customer relationship management (CRM) database up to dateKnowledge and QualificationsMaster’s or Doctorate degree in Immunology or related science (previous Sales experience is an asset, but not required)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsBroad knowledge in area of expertise, including products, processes, practices, and approachesDemonstrate expertise in the competitor landscape and proficiency on the entire product portfolioDisplay proficiency in lab skills and ability to troubleshoot complex customer issues#LI-JS1 #NonBenchSTEMCELL Technologies is a privately owned, Vancouver-based biotechnology company that helps power leading-edge life science research around the world. Selection decisions are solely based on job-related factors.The annual salary for this job ranges from:$138,800.00 - $208,200.00STEMCELL determines an individual’s pay within the range based on multiple factors including experience, education, job-related skills, and equity within the team or organization. For jobs that are eligible for sales incentives, the range noted above is inclusive of target incentives; actual incentives are based on individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
