School Social Worker - Part-Time - 100% Remote - MI License Required
Job Description
As part of our mission to pave the way for children's success worldwide, Therapy Source is currently seeking a Licensed School Social Worker to provide virtual services to charter school students in Michigan. This position is for the upcoming school year.
Licensed Social Worker Salary Range: $62-$65 per hour
Licensed Social Worker Position Details:
ā¢ Must have self-management skills
ā¢ Fully remote
ā¢ MI Board License & School Approval Letter required (Limited Licenses NOT accepted)
ā¢ Must be available during the day
ā¢ Telehealth experience preferred
School Social Worker Qualifications:
ā¢ Licensure as a Social Worker in the state of Michigan
ā¢ School Certification in Michigan
ā¢ Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances
ā¢ Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)
School Social Worker Responsibilities May Include:
ā¢ Driving student achievement for students with disabilities
ā¢ Responding to progress monitoring results and student assessment data
ā¢ Providing support to students, parents, and general education staff and supporting student learning
ā¢ Mentoring and coaching students on self-regulation and organizational skills
ā¢ Developing effective IEPs that translate into measurable results for students
