Responsibilities...
Ā Provide comprehensive nursing care to students in accordance with established protocols and policies
Ā Assess, monitor, and document students' health conditions and administer appropriate treatments
Ā Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement health plans for students with chronic conditions
Ā Educate students, staff, and parents on health-related topics and promote healthy lifestyles within the school community
Ā Maintain accurate and confidential health records for students and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
Ā Valid Registered Nurse (RN) state license
Ā Prior experience working in a school or pediatric setting is preferred
Ā Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, and school staff
Ā Ability to handle medical emergencies and provide immediate care when necessary
Ā Knowledge of current health and safety guidelines for schools
