Soliant is actively recruiting school psychologists for virtual positions serving Ohio districts. These remote opportunities allow you to utilize your expertise in assessment, intervention, and consultation while maintaining work-life balance through a home-based practice model. Position Details You'll support approximately 55-60 students spanning preschool through twelfth grade, working 37.5 hours per week. Your role encompasses the full range of school psychology services: comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations, behavioral consultation, counseling, crisis support, and collaborative problem-solving with educational teams. The virtual format allows you to serve diverse populations across multiple buildings or districts without travel time. Core Functions Assessment remains central to school psychology practice. You'll administer cognitive assessments, achievement testing, behavioral rating scales, and social-emotional measures to determine eligibility for special education services. Your evaluations identify specific learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, emotional disturbances, and other conditions impacting educational performance. You synthesize complex data into clear, actionable reports and present findings at IEP meetings where your recommendations shape services and supports. Consultation services connect your psychological expertise with classroom realities. Teachers reach out when students exhibit challenging behaviors, struggle with peer relationships, or show signs of anxiety or depression. You help develop function-based behavior intervention plans, recommend classroom accommodations, and provide strategies grounded in evidence-based practice. Parents contact you seeking guidance about their child's learning challenges, emotional struggles, or school refusal issues. Direct services include individual and group counseling addressing academic motivation, social skills development, emotional regulation, grief and loss, and mental health concerns. You facilitate check-in/check-out systems, teach coping strategies, and provide short-term therapeutic support while connecting families to community mental health resources for longer-term needs. System-level work involves participation in RTI/MTSS teams, contribution to positive behavior support initiatives, and involvement in crisis response protocols. You bring data-based decision making and understanding of child development to building-level conversations about improving outcomes for all students. Qualifications Required Active licensure as a School Psychologist in Ohio / Master's degree or specialist degree in School Psychology / Two years minimum of school-based experience / Proficiency in administering and interpreting psychoeducational assessments / Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and special education procedures / Strong written and verbal communication skills / Ability to work independently in remote environment Technology Expectations Reliable high-speed internet connection, computer capable of running video conferencing and assessment platforms, webcam, headset or quality microphone, and dedicated private workspace for confidential services.
