Technology: Innovative Network of Knowledge will provide this role with a company provided laptop, but the employee will secure and cover the cost for the operation of this technology in the virtual landscape of his/her home office. (internet, telephone, home office setup, etc.). Position Overview: The PRN School Nurse supports Wellspring Global Academy by ensuring student health records are accurate, compliant, and up to date. This role focuses primarily on verifying immunization records, entering data into Ascender, and coordinating with the district’s ISD nurse to meet state and district reporting timelines. The nurse will also assist with general health compliance and other related duties as assigned. Essential Position Functions ● Review and verify all student immunization records for compliance with state and district requirements. ● Enter and update student immunizations, health forms, and records within the Ascender Student Information System. ● Communicate with families regarding missing or incomplete immunization documentation. ● Collaborate with the ISD school nurse to ensure timely submission of immunization data, audits, and compliance reports. ● Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all student health documentation. ● Track and manage immunization deadlines and reporting cycles. ● Support the enrollment team by confirming health record compliance prior to student activation. ● Assist in other health-related administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications: ● Current Texas RN or LVN license (required). ● Previous experience working in a school, district, or health compliance setting is preferred. ● Proficiency with Ascender or other student information systems strongly preferred. ● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. ● Excellent communication and collaboration skills. ● Ability to work independently and meet established deadlines.
