We are seeking a Full-Time Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join the team with a school district in Sacramento, CA. This position pays $44-$47 per hour and provides full benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) match.
Responsibilities:
Ā Administer healthcare services and treatments to students in accordance with prescribed protocols and policies
Ā Assess and monitor students' health conditions, including vital signs, and document relevant information accurately
Ā Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop individualized healthcare plans for students with specific needs
Ā Educate students, staff, and parents on health-related topics and promote a healthy school environment
Ā Maintain confidential and up-to-date health records, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
Ā Valid State Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license
Ā Experience working in a school or pediatric setting is preferred
Ā Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and school staff
Ā Ability to respond to medical emergencies promptly and provide immediate care as needed
Ā Familiarity with current health and safety guidelines applicable to school settings
