School Health Nurse Full-Time RN Opportunity | Near Hilton Head Island, SC
Blazer Jobs is now hiring a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide health services to students at Bluffton High School in Bluffton, South Carolina. This is a full-time, onsite position for the 2025ā2026 school year, perfect for a nurse passionate about supporting student success.
Location Insight:
The distance from Bluffton, SC to Hilton Head Island, SC is approximately 8 miles by road, which translates to just a 15ā20 minute drive
Responsibilities Include:
ā¢ Administer daily and emergency student health services
ā¢ Support chronic condition management (diabetes, asthma, etc.)
ā¢ Maintain up-to-date immunization and health records
ā¢ Provide first aid and triage care to students and staff
ā¢ Participate in IEP/504 planning and health assessments
ā¢ Serve as a liaison between school, family, and healthcare providers
Required Credentials:
ā¢ Valid South Carolina RN License
ā¢ Current CPR/First Aid Certification
ā¢ Experience in pediatric or school-based nursing preferred
ā¢ Familiarity with FERPA, IEPs, and school health documentation protocols
ā¢ Must pass background check and fingerprinting as required by state and district
