School Year: 2025–2026
Are you a qualified Sign Language Interpreter passionate about making education accessible for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students? A dedicated school district is seeking an experienced interpreter to support students virtually throughout the 2025–2026 academic year.
Position Details
• Schedule: Full-time and part-time opportunities available
• Contract Duration: August 2025 – May 2026
• Caseload: Elementary and high school students
• Work Environment: 100% Remote
Qualifications
• Licensure: Active California Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) license
• Certifications:
• EIPA score of 4.0 or higher (required)
• Passing score on the written exam
• Education: Bachelor's degree in ASL, Educational Interpreting, or a related field
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an educational setting as a Sign Language Interpreter
Compensation & Benefits
• Competitive weekly pay (every Friday)
• Contract position (1099)
