School-Based Licensed Counselor

School-Based Licensed Counselor Location: Reserve, LA Blazer Jobs is seeking a qualified and experienced Licensed School Counselor for a full-time position in the Reserve, LA area for the upcoming school year. This role involves delivering comprehensive counseling services to students while supporting parents, teachers, and school staff. Qualifications (Required): • Master’s Degree in Guidance and Counseling • Must meet the requirements of Bulletin 746, Revised Desirable Qualifications: • Three years of successful teaching experience (preferred) • Additional qualifications may vary by specific position Performance Responsibilities / Essential Functions: • Provide individual and group counseling and guidance • Participate in teacher/parent conferences • Assist with orientation for students, parents, and school staff regarding counseling services and school operations • Offer testing and placement services • Support student scheduling • Discuss graduation requirements, training programs, and career planning with students and parents • Review incoming cumulative records and prepare student files for transfer • Follow up with students eligible for summer school • Serve as a consultant to administration and teaching staff • Conduct individual counseling sessions for students after their second suspension • Demonstrate ability to plan and implement a full guidance and counseling program • Assist teachers and parents in interpreting student data and identifying students with special needs For a full list of responsibilities, please contact Blazer Jobs.
