About the position
The Scheduling Specialist for the Cancer Care division at MaineHealth is responsible for managing appointment scheduling for a busy multi-physician specialty care practice. This role includes coordinating surgeries and surgical procedures across various locations. Once fully trained, the position will transition to a hybrid model, allowing for remote work based on need and experience.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Perform appointment scheduling for a high-volume multi-physician specialty care practice.

Requirements
ā¢ High school graduate or equivalent preferred.

ā¢ Knowledge and skills of using office equipment.

ā¢ Knowledge of customer service concepts and techniques.

ā¢ Excellent organizational skills with the ability to accomplish multiple tasks and adapt to changing demands.

ā¢ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly in person and on the phone.

ā¢ Strong computer skills.

ā¢ Ability to read, understand, and follow oral and written instructions.

ā¢ Ability to maintain confidentiality.

ā¢ Ability to work independently and as a team member with minimal direct supervision.
