Responsibilities As a Scheduling Lead, Medical Group, you will be responsible for: Strategic Scheduling : Analyze schedules and collaborate with local market schedulers to develop optimized schedules that maximize resource utilization and meet contact hour goals Proactive Census Management : Implement proactive strategies to identify and mitigate potential gaps in patient appointments, ensuring a balanced provider census Technology Champion : Partner with local leadership to leverage the full potential of our scheduling system and identify opportunities for automation and improvement Patient Advocate : Develop scripting to enable local market schedulers to build rapport with patients and families, effectively communicating services, appointment details, and follow-up instructions Communication Hub : Centrally manage clear and timely communication of updates, strategies, and scheduling tools for the local market scheduling teams Mentor : Monitor scheduler competencies and partner with local leadership to implement refresher training as needed. Develop and maintain up-to-date operational playbooks and best practices Problem-Solver : Proactively identify and resolve scheduling challenges, escalating complex issues to the appropriate matrix partners Qualifications Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Education : 2+ years of college, and/or equivalent experience Healthcare Experience : 2 years of healthcare-related experience Leadership Experience : Successful track record of managing and maintaining positive relationships with direct reports Analytical and Critical Thinking Skills : Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Problem-Solving Skills : Ability to move quickly to solve complex, real-time issues Medical Terminology : Strong working knowledge of medical terminology, conditions, illnesses, and treatment practices Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication skills Computer Skills : Intermediate computer skill set level with a strong foundation and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Leadership Experience : 2+ years of leadership experience What We Offer At HarmonyCares, we offer a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
