What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist the Director with new and ongoing training for staff providing services to individuals with severe behavior
- Conduct interviews for potential staff members
- Support initial and ongoing training of staff at all levels, excluding BCBAs
- Perform various administrative duties related to staff performance
- Foster effective communication and working relationships with employees and the public
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, Organizational Behavior Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in managing, supervising, and training staff
- Licensed as a Registered Behavior Technician or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
- Proficiency in Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Strong ability to design and implement staff training procedures
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, Organizational Behavior Management, or a related field
- Certified as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA®) or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA®) by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board®
- Ability to demonstrate professional behavior by adhering to departmental and organizational policies
- In-depth knowledge of and adherence to applicable ethical codes and standards
- Capacity to manage staff by providing positive and corrective feedback regularly
