Position : SAP WM /MM Consultant Location: Northville, MI (Onsite/Hybrid depending on client policy) Industry: Automotive Manufacturing Duration: Long-term Contract Job Description: We are looking for an experienced SAP WM/MM Consultant to support our client in the automotive domain. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Warehouse Management (WM) and Materials Management (MM) modules, along with hands-on experience in integration with Production Planning (PP) and SD modules. Responsibilities: • Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications within SAP WM/MM. • Design, configure, and test SAP WM and MM solutions to support business operations. • Support end-to-end processes related to Procurement, Inventory Management, Goods Movement, Warehouse Processes, and Logistics Execution. • Handle inbound and outbound logistics, stock transfer, and warehouse layout configurations. • Work with cross-functional teams (PP, SD, FI, QM) to ensure seamless process integration. • Provide support for system testing (Unit, Integration, UAT) and user training. • Identify and implement process improvements in warehouse and material management operations. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in SAP WM/MM modules in coordination with business users. • Support migration and rollout activities (S/4HANA experience preferred). Required Skills: 12 + years of hands-on experience in SAP WM/MM configuration and support. • Strong knowledge of Inventory Management, Warehouse Processes, Goods Receipt/Issue, Transfer Orders, Picking, and Putaway. • Experience in Auto-ID (RF, Barcode Scanning) and Handling Unit Management (HUM) is a plus. • Exposure to SAP S/4HANA migration or greenfield implementation preferred. • Excellent understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Inbound/Outbound Logistics processes. • Automotive industry experience is highly desirable. • Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
