SAP PPDS Consultant - Bayforce

Role Title: Functional SAP PPDS ConsultantDuration: 7+ months (with potential extensions)Location: Remote, with 1 week onsite a monthRole Description:Our client is seeking an experienced Functional SAP PPDS Consultant to lead the implementation of SAP Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PPDS). This is a new module for the organization, and they are piloting the solution across four sites, with a targeted go-live in April. The consultant will be responsible for driving the core PPDS configuration, collaborating with business stakeholders, and designing processes that align with organizational needs.Responsibilities:Lead the end-to-end functional implementation of SAP PPDS embedded in S/4 HANA.Configure and customize core PPDS functionality to support business requirements.Work directly with business stakeholders to design and document business-facing PPDS processes.Provide guidance on best practices for production planning and detailed scheduling.Support testing, issue resolution, and readiness activities leading up to go-live.Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration across sites.Requirements:Proven experience as a Functional Consultant with SAP PPDS (embedded in S/4 HANA).Strong expertise in core PPDS configuration and process design.Experience in leading or supporting greenfield or pilot PPDS implementations.Ability to work directly with business users, plant teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.Strong communication and documentation skills.Previous experience supporting go-live and post-go-live activities preferred.Employers have access to artificial intelligence language tools (“AI”) that help generate and enhance job descriptions and AI may have been used to create this description.
