SAP MM/WM/EWM Consultant
Job Title: SAP MM/WM/EWM Consultant Location: Chestnut Ridge, NY (Onsite from Day 1) Overview Hiring a seasoned SAP MM/WM/EWM consultant (10 15 years overall, minimum 6 years in EWM + S/4HANA). Role focuses on design, configuration, implementation, and end-to-end support across warehouse and logistics processes. Key Responsibilities • Lead SAP MM/WM/EWM solution design, configuration, testing, and go-live support. • Own functional specifications, user stories, and requirement gathering. • Manage tickets, SLAs, RCA, and production support in a global delivery environment. • Drive end-to-end warehouse processes: inbound, outbound, manufacturing staging, picking, packing, HU, cross-docking, and physical inventory. • Coordinate with technical teams on custom objects, interfaces, IDocs, enhancements, and 3rd-party integrations (3PL, mobility, scanners, RF). • Lead UAT, regression testing, training, and master data validation (BP, material master). • Mentor small teams and act as client-facing lead for project and support cycles. • Support global template rollouts and change management. Core Skills & Experience • Strong hands-on experience in SAP MM, WM, EWM on S/4HANA. • Deep expertise in: • Inbound/Outbound, Picking/Packing, Handling Units • Batch Management, Serial Numbers • Physical & Cycle Counting • Transfer Orders, Transfer Postings, Stock Movements • Shipping/Distribution processes • Solid understanding of P2P, Logistics Execution, and integration with FI, SD, PP, QM. • Experience with: • IDocs (Inbound/Outbound), RFCs, EDI • Barcode scanning, label printing & reprinting • SAP mobility/RF solutions • Pricing, partner determination, account determination • Strong testing background: Unit, SIT, UAT, regression. • Ability to write functional specifications and support ABAP enhancements. • Familiarity with ServiceNow, Solution Manager, Jira, or similar tools. • Experience in global delivery and large-scale enterprise support preferred.
