SAP MM/WM Consultant (S/4HANA)

VASS America is seeking a talented SAP MM/WM Consultant to help guide delivery and new implementations primarily in S/4HANA space for customers in North America and globally. The ideal candidate will possess deep functional knowledge, strong configuration skills, and experience with end-to-end supply chain and warehouse processes. Job Description, Profile & Experience: · 4+ years in SAP S/4HANA with a focus on SAP MM/IM processes with at least 1 full-cycle implementation in Public Cloud or Private Cloud. · Tailoring the SAP MM module to meet specific business requirements, including master data, purchasing, inventory management, and invoice verification. · Ensuring seamless integration of SAP MM with other SAP modules like FI/CO, SD, and PP. · Identifying, analyzing, and resolving issues related to the SAP MM module. · Providing guidance and training to users on how to effectively utilize the SAP MM system. · Participating in testing activities during implementation and upgrades to ensure system functionality and performance. · Collaborate with development teams for functional specifications (WRICEF) and ensure seamless implementation. · Creating and maintaining documentation related to the SAP MM module, including functional designs, test cases, and user guides. · Assisting with change management activities related to SAP MM, including impact assessments and change requests. · Analyzing business processes and identifying areas for improvement within the SAP MM module. · Contributing project planning, timelines, and budgets for SAP MM implementations. · Keeping abreast of new SAP technologies, tools, and best practices. · Support S/4HANA Public and Private cloud deployments, including SAP Best Practices and fit-to-standard approaches. · Ability to deliver both greenfield (new implementation) and brownfield (system conversion or selective data transition) projects. Skills & Experience: · Strong knowledge of SAP MM module · Design and configure the SAP S/4HANA MM/WM module covering: o Procurement (direct, indirect, third-party) o Inventory Management o Subcontracting and Consignment o External Services Management o Material Valuation and Account Determination o Warehouse stock transfers, put away, picking, and physical inventory · Proficiency in developing and executing test plans, including unit testing, integration testing, and UAT. · Conducted master data migration using Data Migration Cockpit · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with business users and technical teams. · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues within the SAP MM process. · Solid understanding of S/4HANA innovations, Fiori apps, and best practices. · Proficient in SAP Activate methodology and Fit-To-Standard approaches. Other Relevant Information: · Comfortable operating in fast-paced, multi-vendor, and multi-country programs. · Self-starter with the ability to work independently or lead small teams. · Experience with multiple full lifecycle SAP implementations is highly valued. · Knowledge of business processes within specific industries (e.g., manufacturing, retail) can be beneficial. · Exposure to SAP EWM, Ariba, or SAP Business Network · Understanding of IDocs, integration with 3PL systems, or RF scanning solutions · While primarily a functional role, some technical skills, such as ABAP knowledge or experience with the SAP Business Technology Platform, would be beneficial.
