SAP MM/ABAP Techno-Functional Consultant
Job Title: SAP MM/ABAP Techno-Functional Consultant Location: Wixom, MI (Remote acceptable) Job Type: Contract Experience: 10+ Years Job Overview We are seeking a highly experienced SAP MM/ABAP Techno-Functional Consultant who can work independently to gather business requirements and develop ABAP reports. The ideal candidate should have a strong combination of technical ABAP development expertise and functional knowledge of SAP MM (Materials Management), with the ability to deliver solutions without heavy reliance on separate functional resources. Responsibilities • Collaborate with business users to gather and analyze requirements related to the SAP MM module. • Design, develop, and implement custom ABAP programs, reports, and enhancements to meet business needs. • Create and modify smart forms, interfaces, BAPIs, BADIs, and user exits as needed. • Integrate ABAP solutions with MM business processes such as procurement, inventory management, and logistics. • Provide end-to-end technical and functional support for MM-related developments and configurations. • Troubleshoot and optimize existing ABAP code and performance issues. • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of SAP solutions. • Support testing, documentation, and user training as part of implementation or enhancement projects. Required Skills And Experience • 10+ years of hands-on SAP experience with a strong focus on Materials Management (MM) and ABAP development. • Proven ability to work as a techno-functional consultant, bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. • Strong expertise in ABAP development tools including Reports, ALV, BAPIs, BADIs, SmartForms, Enhancements, and Interfaces. • Functional understanding of key MM processes: Procurement (P2P), Inventory Management, Purchase Requisitions/Orders, Goods Receipts, and Invoicing. • Experience with data migration, IDocs, and integration with other SAP modules (FI, SD, PP). • Ability to translate functional requirements into technical specifications and deliver high-quality solutions. • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Nice to Have • Experience with S/4HANA environments. • Exposure to Fiori/UI5 or OData services. • Knowledge of MM configuration and enhancement framework. Apply tot his job
