We are seeking a highly technical manager to oversee the support, maintenance, and optimization of SAP Finance applications. This role requires deep SAP FI/CO expertise, strong troubleshooting skills, and hands-on experience with SAP system architecture, integrations, and custom developments. You will lead incident resolution, performance tuning, and system enhancements, ensuring optimal system availability and business continuity.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee 1st line support for SAP Finance applications, ensuring quick issue resolution and minimal downtime.
• Provide technical expertise on SAP FI/CO, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Controlling (CO).
• Troubleshoot and debug SAP ABAP programs related to Finance, including BAPIs, BADIs,
• User Exits, Enhancement Framework, and custom reports.
• Manage SAP Finance-related interfaces and ensure smooth data flow between SAP and external systems.
• Monitor and optimize SAP system performance, identifying potential bottlenecks and implementing proactive measures.
• Work closely with SAP Basis, Security, and Infrastructure teams to maintain system stability, including role management, transport management, and system upgrades.
• Support and troubleshoot SAP Workflow, Fiori applications, and SAPUI5 developments for Finance-related processes.
• Collaborate with ABAP developers to enhance, debug, and optimize custom code in the SAP Finance space.
• Assist in data migrations, LSMW, BODS, and BAPI-based updates for finance-related transactions.
• Manage financial closing automation solutions and electronic banking/payment interfaces.
• Lead a small team of SAP Finance support analysts, ensuring adherence to SLAs and ITIL best practices.
• Act as the primary escalation point for SAP Finance technical issues, coordinating with 2nd/3rd line support.
• Drive problem management and root cause analysis for recurring SAP Finance issues.
• Liaise with business stakeholders, consultants, and external vendors to implement system improvements and resolve technical challenges.
• Identify opportunities for system automation, performance tuning, and process optimization in SAP Finance.
• Ensure compliance with SOX, GDPR, and internal IT security policies related to SAP Finance.
• Participate in SAP S/4HANA migrations or Finance transformation projects.
• Keep up to date with SAP Finance innovations, S/4HANA, BTP, and emerging technologies.
Technical Qualifications:
• SAP FI/CO Expertise: Strong hands-on experience in General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Controlling (CO), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), and Cost Center Accounting (CCA).
• SAP ABAP Debugging & Enhancements: Understanding of BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancement Framework, RFCs, and custom reports.
• SAP Integrations: Experience with IDocs, ALE, BAPI, RFC, Web Services, and third-party financial system integrations.
• SAP Performance Tuning: Ability to analyze dump analysis (ST22), performance traces (ST05), workload monitoring (ST03), and memory management.
• SAP Security & Authorizations: Understanding of role-based access control (RBAC), Fiori security, and audit compliance.
• SAP Workflow & Automation: Experience with workflow configurations, job scheduling, and financial closing automation tools.
• Data Migration & Interfaces: Hands-on experience with LSMW, BODS, BAPI uploads, and custom data conversion programs.
• SAP S/4HANA Exposure: Knowledge of SAP Universal Journal, new GL functionalities, and S/4HANA Finance innovations.
• ITIL & Incident Management: Experience in ServiceNow, Solution Manager, or similar ITSM tools for SAP incident tracking.
Preferred Qualifications:
• SAP S/4HANA Finance (FICO) experience or certification.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori, BTP, or SAPUI5 developments for Finance applications.
• Experience with Treasury & Risk Management (TRM) or Bank Communication Management (BCM).
• Cloud and DevOps exposure (SAP BTP, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for SAP).
• SAP Certification in FI/CO, ABAP, or S/4HANA is a plus.
