SAP FICO Solution Consultant
Job Title: SAP FICO Solution Consultant Location: Remote Job Description: We are seeking an experienced SAP Finance Solution consultant to lead the design, development, and implementation of SAP Finance (FICO) solutions across enterprise environments. Apart FICO with GXP, Deep exposure to Gross-to-Net and Rebate processes used in Life Sciences/Pharma will be key on this role Experience of GxP in the pharmaceutical industry for regulations and quality guidelines. Key Responsibilities • Lead the architecture, design, and solutioning of SAP Finance (FICO) modules, including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Controlling, and Product Costing. • Experience of GxP in the pharmaceutical industry for regulations and quality guidelines. • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and propose SAP-based solutions. • Develop solution roadmaps, integration strategies, and future-state architecture for Finance systems. • Oversee configuration, testing, and deployment activities for SAP Finance solutions. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Procurement, Sales, Supply Chain, HR, etc.) for integrated end-to-end process design. • Provide guidance on S/4HANA Finance functionalities, including Universal Journal, New Asset Accounting, Central Finance, and Group Reporting. • Drive best practices, data governance, and process optimization initiatives. • Troubleshoot complex issues and provide thought leadership during project delivery. • Mentor functional consultants and ensure adherence to architecture standards. • Support pre-sales activities, effort estimation, and solution demos when required. Required Qualifications • 10+ years of experience in SAP Finance (FICO) with at least 2–3 end-to-end SAP implementations. • Strong functional expertise in FI and CO modules with deep knowledge of financial processes (Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash). • Hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance, including New GL, Universal Journal, and Central Finance (preferred). • Solid understanding of integrations with MM, SD, PP, and SuccessFactors. • Experience with financial reporting tools (Group Reporting, SAP Analytics Cloud – optional). • Ability to create detailed solution architecture documents, configuration designs, and integration maps. • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills. • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or related field (MBA/CPA is a plus).
