SAP FICO – Project Systems Consultant

Role Summary As an SAP FICO – PS Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting the integration between Financial Accounting (FI), Controlling (CO), and Project Systems (PS) modules in SAP. You will work closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to drive successful implementations and optimizations. Key Responsibilities • Lead the implementation and support of SAP FICO with a focus on Project Systems (PS). • Configure SAP PS structures: WBS, Networks, Activities, Milestones, Cost Planning, Budgeting, and Settlements. • Align SAP PS with FI and CO modules for end-to-end project accounting. • Define and manage value flows between FI, CO, and PS. • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements. • Develop functional specifications for custom developments or integrations. • Conduct unit, integration, and user acceptance testing. • Train end-users and create system documentation. • Support SAP upgrades, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives. • Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field. • 5+ years of experience in SAP FICO with at least 2 full lifecycle implementations involving Project Systems. • Strong understanding of PS structures (WBS, networks, activities) and their integration with FI/CO. • Hands-on experience with budgeting, cost planning, and project settlements. • Solid knowledge of integration with MM, SD, and PM modules is a plus. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Experience on writing Test Scripts, Test Scenarios, Executing SIT/UAT scenarios, Data Migration.
