Additionally, feel free to share your updated resume for consideration Role: SAP FICO Consultant Location: Remote Contract position Job Summary We are seeking a seasoned SAP Finance Consultant with over 8 years of experience in SAP implementation and rollout projects, ideally within large-scale industrial or equipment manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise in SAP FI/CO, deep understanding of US GAAP, and prior exposure to COPICS-to-SAP migrations. Strong integration knowledge and ABAP familiarity are essential, as is the ability to lead design workshops, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage key business stakeholders. Key Responsibilities • Lead and drive SAP Finance (FI/CO) implementation and rollout projects, including solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment. • Conduct detailed design workshops with business stakeholders to define finance requirements aligned to US GAAP and business processes. • Translate legacy finance processes (e.g., from COPICS) into SAP-based solutions. • Manage stakeholder expectations and serve as the primary point of contact for finance solution delivery. • Support end-to-end integration with upstream and downstream SAP/non-SAP systems. • Collaborate with technical teams to support custom developments, requiring a sound understanding of ABAP logic and debugging. • Ensure solution compliance with US GAAP, internal controls, and audit requirements. • Create and maintain project documentation including functional specs, process flows, and configuration guides. • Provide cutover, go-live, and post-go-live stabilization support. Qualifications • Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field. • 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Finance (FI/CO) modules. • Demonstrated experience in SAP implementations and rollouts, ideally in industrial/manufacturing clients. • Working knowledge of COPICS or experience migrating from COPICS to SAP is highly desirable. • Strong integration knowledge with SD, MM, PP, and external systems. • Exposure to ABAP for debugging and working with technical teams. • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. • Working knowledge of US GAAP, tax, and compliance processes.
