SAP FICO Consultant Financial Close (AI / Automation Focus)
Role: SAP FICO Consultant ā Financial Close (AI / Automation Focus)
Location: India (Preferred) / Remote
Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with strong expertise in financial closing (month-end / period-end close) and mandatory experience in AI / automation.
The role focuses on accelerating financial close cycles using AI, moving beyond traditional manual and RPA-driven processes.
Key Responsibilities
ā¢ Work on end-to-end financial closing processes (GL close, intercompany, reconciliations, journal entries, reporting)
ā¢ Analyze current manual close processes and identify optimization opportunities
ā¢ Design and implement AI-driven solutions for financial close acceleration
ā¢ Build PoCs / use cases leveraging AI/GenAI for finance
ā¢ Collaborate with finance, business, and technical teams
ā¢ Work in a multi-vendor environment alongside SAP and other partners
Mandatory Skills
ā¢ Strong experience in SAP FICO
ā¢ Hands-on experience in month-end / financial closing processes
ā¢ Proven exposure to AI / GenAI / intelligent automation
ā¢ Examples: Copilots, LLMs, AI-driven workflows, or similar
ā¢ Experience in process automation / optimization
ā¢ Good understanding of:
ā¢ GL, AP, AR
ā¢ Intercompany accounting
ā¢ Financial reporting
Good to Have
ā¢ Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance
ā¢ Exposure to SAP AI (Joule) / SAP BTP AI services
ā¢ Experience with tools like Python, RPA, APIs, or workflow automation
ā¢ Experience in finance transformation programs
Ideal Candidate

ā¢ Has worked on AI/automation use cases in finance or enterprise processes
