SAP Data Architect- A&D- Remote

• As a lead Data Solution Architect, this role is responsible for working with business and technical teams to design solutions for ingesting, processing, and syndicating data. The Data Solution Architect ensures data are well organized for accessibility, security, and reliability by maintaining data frameworks, models, and policies. They translate business needs into technical solutions, and ensure the data follow best practice and enterprise standard supporting long term health and success of the data platform. Candidate MUST HAVE ... • A&D / discrete manufacturing experience. Note: A&D does not equal Public Sector - so we do not care about candidates that have only PS experience. • Experience as a Value Stream Lead involving a US deployment of an SAP S/4HANA global design with localization in US geography. • Specific SAP component configuration and deployment experience Key Responsibilities: • Create comprehensive data architectures and governance concepts (based on the SAP Data Model) and develop strategic and tactical roadmaps charting the deployment of digital solutions SAP offers to help guide our customer’s strategic decision-making activities. • Provide solution architecture for specific business requirements as well as the overall enterprise data ecosystem - developing and providing guidance on enterprise best practices for data ingestion, processing, and integration. • Create conceptual, logical, and physical data models to represent how data is structured and used across the enterprise. • Data Governance: Establishing policies, standards, and procedures for data quality, security, and access to ensure data integrity and compliance. • Experience with Collibra and establishing it as a solution for a Data Catalog (for Master, Transaction, and Reference data) • Transform and modernize existing reporting and planning systems and integrate BusinessAI with the needed high-quality data • Ensure data are well organized for accessibility, security, and reliability by maintaining data frameworks, models, and policies. • Ensure the data follows best practice and enterprise standard supporting long term health and success of the data platform. • Identify improvement potentials within the Data Management. • Ensure data from different sources can be seamlessly integrated and accessed. • Support Data Migration activities such as defining migration architecture, tools, and processes. • Provide deep expertise in Data & Analytics and data platform architectures, concepts, and business impacts, with a strategic view that aligns with SAP’s vision and cloud methodologies like RISE or Clean Core. • Maintain in-depth knowledge of SAP’s Data & Analytics portfolio (SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP BW) and frameworks, and the correlation with SAP BusinessAI, SAP RISE - including Clean Core principles and SAP BTP. Other Qualification: • A minimum of five (5) years prior professional consulting or equivalent business process industry experience • At least five (5) years of hands-on systems configuration experience within your given SAP component • Successful completion of at least three full life cycle implementations of S/4HANA v2019 or later • Successful completion of the rollout and localization of a global template • Strong communication and presentation skills • Strong ability to facilitate discussions and negotiate mutually beneficial solutions when necessary • Willingness to travel as needed to client locations.
