SAP Conversion Lead
Equal Plus Consulting has been engaged to search for an SAP Conversion Lead (Techno-Functional) to work for a client remotely in the US.
Title: SAP Conversion Lead (Techno-Functional)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: 12 months
Location: Remotely – United States
Candidates must be eligible for secret clearance
NO AGENCIES OR THIRD PARTIES
The client’s project will have hundreds of conversion specs across the product teams.
Conversions require both data mapping and data cleansing. Source and target data mapping often turns up additional gaps and questions.
Required Skills:
SAP Data Mapping – familiar w/standard SAP Tables and config settings
Familiar w/Aero customizations and processes
Data cleansing experience
Past Data Conversion experience
Fit/Gap assessments (data mapping often reveals gaps)
Activities:
Writing conversion specs, which includes reviewing SAP config, reviewing source and target system specs, specifying data transformations, identifying data cleansing, data mapping
Validating conversion load files
Write Conversion Specs:
Review Legacy solution
Review new designs/solutions
Write source system data mapping and data transformations
Work with Project Team POC’s who provide target system mappings
Execute Conversion Testing:
Validate pre-load files (to be provided by Syniti based on specs)
Test Data Loads
Log defects
Work with product team POC’s and Syniti POC’s to correct defects
Identify data cleansing opportunities
Participate in data cleansing workshops in conjunction with business personnel
