Sap Advanced Business Application Programming Consultant
Position Summary We are seeking an experienced SAP BTP & ABAP Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise SAP solutions. This role will focus on building and extending applications using SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) while leveraging strong ABAP development expertise to support and enhance SAP S/4HANA and ECC environments. The ideal candidate combines deep technical skills with the ability to collaborate across functional and technical teams. Key Responsibilities SAP BTP Development • Design, develop, and deploy applications and extensions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). • Build and manage integrations using SAP Integration Suite, APIs, OData services, and event-based architectures. • Develop applications using SAP BTP services such as CAP, Cloud Foundry, SAP HANA Cloud, and SAP Fiori. • Support cloud-native application development and modernization initiatives. ABAP Development • Develop, customize, and enhance ABAP solutions including reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows. • Work with ABAP OO, CDS Views, AMDP, and performance optimization techniques in S/4HANA environments. • Support SAP Fiori/UI5 back-end development through OData services. • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across SAP systems. Integration & Collaboration • Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions. • Support system integrations between SAP and third-party applications. • Participate in design reviews, code reviews, testing, and deployment activities. Support & Governance • Ensure solutions follow SAP best practices, security standards, and governance guidelines. • Provide documentation, knowledge transfer, and support for production environments. • Assist with system upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience). • Strong hands-on experience with ABAP development in SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA environments. • Practical experience developing on SAP BTP, including application extensions and integrations. • Experience with CDS Views, OData services, and SAP Fiori back-end development. • Solid understanding of SAP integration concepts and APIs. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model). • Familiarity with SAP Integration Suite, CPI, or PI/PO. • Exposure to SAP HANA Cloud, SQLScript, and performance optimization. • SAP certifications in ABAP or SAP BTP. • Experience supporting cloud migration or S/4HANA transformation initiatives.
