Brief Summary of Role We’re seeking a Lead Engineer/Architect to join Copado Labs, focusing on developing innovative solutions and extensions for Copado’s DevOps and AI platform. This role combines technical leadership with hands-on development to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions while mentoring team members and supporting our partner ecosystem. What You’ll Be Doing: Solution Architecture & Development: Design and architect solutions that extend Copado’s platform capabilities through Functions, Job Templates, and Custom Extensions Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer needs and translate them into scalable solutions Create and maintain technical documentation for Copado Labs solutions Develop proof-of-concepts and prototypes for new platform features Design solutions that integrate with Copado’s Quality Intelligence Framework Design and architect solutions leveraging Copado’s AI Platform capabilities Partner Enablement & Support Design and deliver technical enablement programs for partners building Copado extensions Provide architectural guidance and best practices to partners developing solutions for the DevOps Exchange Create reference architectures and solution templates for common extension patterns Review partner-built extensions and provide technical feedback Lead technical workshops and training sessions for partners Support partners in troubleshooting complex technical challenges Guide partners in implementing AI-powered solutions Collaboration & Leadership Collaborate with the core Copado product team to ensure solutions align with product roadmap Mentor team members and partners on Salesforce architecture best practices and Copado platform capabilities Contribute to the partner certification program for extension development Participate in partner advisory boards and technical steering committees Lead innovation initiatives for AI-powered DevOps solutions We Are Looking for Someone With 7+ years of Salesforce development and architecture experience Deep understanding of Salesforce development lifecycle and DevOps methodologies Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks Strong knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce APIs Understanding of AI/ML concepts and their application in DevOps Proven track record of partner enablement or technical training delivery Technical Skills Expert-level knowledge of Salesforce platform limits, governance, and security Proficiency in developing custom solutions using Bash scripting and/or Python Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and integration patterns Understanding of data migration strategies and tools Familiarity with modern DevOps tools and practices Knowledge of extension development best practices and patterns Experience with AI/ML platforms and services Understanding of natural language processing and machine learning concepts Strong architectural thinking and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences Leadership experience in guiding technical teams Passion for innovation and continuous learning Strong focus on scalability and enterprise-grade solution design Experience in creating technical content and documentation Vision for applying AI/ML in DevOps processes Nice to Have : Previous experience building solutions for the Copado DevOps Exchange, but not essential Experience in partner enablement programs or developer advocacy Background in AI/ML implementation in enterprise solutions Contributions to open-source projects or community solutions Experience with multiple Salesforce clouds (Sales, Service, Experience, etc.) Background in implementing enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions Knowledge of multiple version control systems and branching strategies Copado is Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employers.
