Job Title: Salesforce Security Architect / BSALocation: Onshore RemoteDuration: Long term NOTE: CERTIFICATIONS MUST BE DONE IN 2020 OR BEFORE About the RoleCritical River s Salesforce Studio is seeking an experienced Salesforce Security Architect / Business Systems Analyst to lead a GTM Security Hardening initiative. This role requires a Sr. Lead or higher-level professional with deep expertise in Salesforce security model design and implementation, including profiles, roles, permission sets, sharing rules, and data access governance. You will be responsible for owning security design decisions, facilitating workshops, and ensuring the Salesforce environment is hardened for scale and compliance.This role is best suited for a self-starter with strong leadership and coordination skills who can drive design sessions, align stakeholders quickly, and guide the team toward fast, informed decisions.What You ll DoOwn the design and implementation of Salesforce security hardening across GTM systems.Lead discovery and design workshops focused on access controls, roles, profiles, permission sets, and sharing models.Partner with business and IT stakeholders to define security requirements and translate them into a scalable Salesforce security architecture.Establish and document security governance standards, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and industry best practices.Coordinate and facilitate decision-making across teams to accelerate delivery and remove roadblocks.Provide hands-on guidance for implementing security configuration in Salesforce.Support audits, compliance reviews, and remediation efforts as needed.Stay up to date on Salesforce security enhancements and recommend proactive improvements.What We re Looking For8+ years of Salesforce experience, including security model design at enterprise scale.Proven expertise with Salesforce profiles, roles, permission sets, sharing rules, login/IP restrictions, and security health checks.Strong understanding of Salesforce data access model and its implications for compliance, scalability, and performance.Experience leading discovery, workshops, and architecture design sessions.Excellent stakeholder management and coordination skills able to drive alignment and decisions quickly.Experience with governance, audit, and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOX, GDPR, HIPAA) preferred.Onshore availability (U.S. preferred).Salesforce Certifications required:Salesforce Certified AdministratorSalesforce Certified Advanced AdministratorSalesforce Certified Application Architect (or higher: System Architect, Technical Architect) strongly preferredEmployers have access to artificial intelligence language tools (“AI”) that help generate and enhance job descriptions and AI may have been used to create this description.
