Salesforce Report Developer (CRM Analytics) - Remote Contract - Part Time

Resource 1 is in need of an experienced Salesforce Report Developer/ Analyst with expertise in CRM Analytics (formerly Einstein Analytics), Lightning Reports, Dashboards, and the ability to work with complex data. This is a part-time contract (20 - 25 hours per week) and majority of development can be done in off-hours. NO THIRD PARTIES PLEASE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building recipes and lenses in CRM Analytics, familiarity with reading and interpreting SQL scripts of medium to high complexity, and a deep understanding of data analysis within Salesforce environments. In this role, the candidate will contribute to the reporting functions that support the business's data-driven decision-making processes. Experience in Higher Education and fundraising organizations is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Salesforce Reporting: Build and optimize operational reports using Salesforce CRM Analytics (reports/ recipes/ lenses) and Lightning reports.

Dashboards & Lightning Reports: Create dynamic, user-friendly dashboards and Lightning reports that help stakeholders analyze key metrics.

SQL Scripting & Analysis: Read, understand, and reverse-engineer medium to high-complexity SQL scripts for reporting purposes. Transform SQL scripts into effective Salesforce reporting functions.

Data Analysis: Collaborate with business users to understand their reporting needs and translate them into actionable data insights.

Problem-Solving: Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve data issues, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of reporting outputs.

Learning & Development: Demonstrate the ability to quickly learn and work within new data domains.

Mentoring & Knowledge Transfer: Mentor existing team members in Salesforce CRM Analytics and Lighting reporting.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of overall experience with Salesforce, including report/ dashboard development.
• Recent experience with Salesforce reporting tools (CRM Analytics, Lightning Reports, Dashboards) and rolling out reports to users.Strong knowledge and experience in reading and interpreting SQL scripts.
• Ability to reverse-engineer medium to high-complexity SQL queries and transform them into Salesforce reporting functions.
• Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform and its data structure/ objects.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts.
• Experience working with large datasets and integrating various data sources for reporting.

Pluses:

• Experience within Higher Education or Fundraising organizations.Experience with Common Table Expressions (CTE).
• Experience with Oracle PL/SQL development (queries/ views/ procedures).
• Familiarity with Tableau and Cognos BI for building reports and visualizations.
• Salesforce certifications in CRM Analytics or reporting functions.
• Experience with Kindsight Ascend.
