Salesforce Developer / Solutions Engineer

We are actively hiring a Salesforce Developer / Solutions Engineer to join the Flourish Research Digital Experience and Marketing Technology division. The Salesforce Developer / Solutions Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining Salesforce solutions that support Flourish Research’s operational needs and research initiatives. This role reports to the Executive Director of Digital Experience and Marketing Technology and partners closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, implement customized solutions, ensure system performance and security, and provide ongoing technical support and training to end users. Shift: Monday-Friday, Normal business hours (occasional evenings or weekends as needed) Location: Remote + some travel may be required (up to 10%) Compensation: Competitive Base Salary Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance plans, 401(k) with 4% match, tuition reimbursement, parental leave, referral program, employee assistance program, life insurance, disability insurance, and 15 days of PTO + 10 company holidays. RESPONSIBILITIES Design, develop, and implement customized Salesforce solutions to meet the specific needs of Flourish Research. Write, review, and execute detailed Salesforce assessments to ensure optimal performance and alignment with business objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality Salesforce applications. Maintain and enhance existing Salesforce applications, ensuring seamless integration with other systems and platforms. Perform regular system audits and prepare for upgrades to keep the Salesforce environment secure and up to date. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for Salesforce configurations, customizations, and integrations. Provide technical support and training to end users to maximize effective use of Salesforce. Stay current on Salesforce features, best practices, and industry trends to continuously improve platform capabilities. Represent Flourish Research in a professional and courteous manner in all verbal, written, and in-person interactions with staff, clients, and vendors. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer, Salesforce Certified Administrator) are a plus. 5+ years of experience working with Salesforce. Experience writing detailed technical assessments and documentation for Salesforce. Proven experience in Salesforce development and customization, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components. Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data models, and security. Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with Office 365 and related computer applications. Ability to multi-task, prioritize competing demands, and remain flexible in a fast-paced environment.
