General Summary:

Seeking a Sales Technology Consultant I to join our team. In this role, you will serve as a trusted technology advisor while actively driving new business opportunities and educating prospective clients on the products and services of RelevantTec. Your priority is addressing potential clients’ questions and concerns quickly and effectively, while developing and maintaining long-term, valued-driven relationships. This role requires a blend of consultative sales, solution design, and technology expertise. You will work as both a product and project advisor—crafting tailored solutions that include IT and Cybersecurity initiatives, hardware sales, and other RelevantTec offerings. Success in this role hinges on your ability to identify and pursue new opportunities, build strong business cases, and strategically plan and execute sales activities that expand RelevantTec’s market presence. A strong candidate will be proactive in prospecting, confident in presenting solutions, and committed to delivering exceptional client experience through service and consultation. Major/Essential Functions or Key Responsibilities

· Grow your territory by identifying and developing new business opportunities

· Attend onsite meetings, networking events, and local business gatherings

· Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing

· Conduct discovery meetings, present solutions, and build tailored proposals

· Partner with sales operations team to scope MSP, cybersecurity, and project services

· Build and maintain strong client relationships and identify upselling opportunities

· Keep the CRM updated with activities, pipeline, and forecasts

· Develop trusted advisor relationships with potential clients, all key stakeholders and executive sponsors

· Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize business opportunities

· Ensure timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer strategy and alignment

· Ability to attend and present at trade shows and conferences with a high level of confidence while creating new opportunities

· Continued prospecting to grow opportunities and ensure goals are met each quarter.
• Ability to forecast sales each month and engage leadership to ensure operations department is notified of pending projects and onboarding.

Required Qualifications:

· 3+ years of B2B sales experience (MSP / Cybersecurity preferred)

· Strong understanding of IT, cloud, and cybersecurity basics

· Self-starter who thrives in a field-based, autonomous role

· Experienced with customer support and sales

· Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize requests and workload accordingly

· Ability to demonstrate expert level communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, and to influence outcomes and foster relationships to achieve common objectives

· Proven track record of success across the entire sales process from start to finish, an understanding of the sales methodology

· Basic IT and Cybersecurity knowledge required

· General abilities with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint, CRM Tools etc.)

· Valid driver’s license + travel required

Preferred Qualifications:

· 5 Years business to business sales

· BA/BS degree in Business Management, Sales, or related field experience

· Two-year University/associate degree preferred or equivalent experience.

· Typically, 3+ years of experience in related field, preferable in technology.

· Direct experience interacting with customers (i.e., Technical, Administrative, or Consulting roles).

Success Looks Like:

· Bringing in new MSP recurring revenue

· Working with clients to upgrade their technology environment through hardware and project sales.

· Closing new clients

· Building a strong, healthy pipeline

· Helping clients improve efficiency, security, and business resilience
