Sales Support Specialist I

The role involves managing quotes and proposals, ensuring Salesforce accuracy, and assisting with regional events while delivering exceptional service and operational efficiency.ResponsibilitiesRespond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction with quotes and proposalsFacilitate revisions and consult with Client Executives to meet customer needs and requirementsUphold Laerdal values while delivering exceptional service to internal and external customersServe as the primary administrative point of contact for Client Executives, Regional Channel Managers, National Accounts, and Government teamsCreate accurate quotes, proposals, sole source letters, proforma invoices, and manual invoices within established timelines (quotes within 8 hours, proposals within 24 hours)Verify contract eligibility, pricing, and check stock availability and lead timesMaintain accurate Salesforce entries for opportunities and activities, including updates to past-due opportunitiesProvide administrative support for regional events such as Mini SUNs, Major SUNs, and workshopsPrepare event materials including badges, agendas, and literature; manage CVent registrant listsUtilize established best practices throughout the sales support processResearch order status, account credit terms, and account statusProcess no-charge entries and complete Education Market Order Forms for quotationsConsistently adhere to Laerdal policies and lead in Salesforce usageProactively interact with Customer Success and other internal stakeholders to complete administrative tasksSeek innovative approaches to enhance sales team support and operational efficiencySkillsHigh School Diploma – certificate or degree preferredMinimum of 1-2 years of Sales Support and/or Customer Service experienceFlexible and adaptable in a dynamic environmentStrong commitment to customer engagement and delivering exceptional serviceExcellent attention to detail and accuracy in all tasksProficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM systems is a plusFamiliarity with AI tools and technologies to enhance efficiency and support innovative solutionsBenefitsGenerous PTO & HolidaysHybrid and Compressed Work Week (for operations-based roles only)Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and VisionHSA & FSA Account Options, with employer HSA contribution401k with Employer Match & Profit SharingTuition ReimbursementWellness Reimbursement ProgramProfessional Development OpportunitiesPet InsuranceSubsidized Cafeteria in NY based officeCompany OverviewLaerdal Medical develops healthcare-related solutions and programs with a focus on helping save lives.
