Sales Representative - Southeast

Description Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative with at least 2 years of experience to join our growing sales team. This role focuses on account management, developing new business, maintaining client relationships, supporting operational processes, and driving revenue growth across a portfolio of industrial and specialty chemical products. Key Responsibilities · Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers · Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing and post-sale support · Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within target industries · Prepare and deliver sales presentations, quotes, and proposals · Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, logistics, and technical support) to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction · Monitor inventory levels to ensure product availability and prevent stockouts or overstock situations · Coordinate with warehouse and procurement teams to align inventory with customer demand and sales forecasts · Assist in demand planning and provide input based on customer forecasts and pipeline activity · Ensure accurate order entry and fulfillment in coordination with operations teams · Help resolve shipping discrepancies, returns, and customer complaints related to delivery or product condition · Track order status and proactively communicate updates, delays, or issues to customers · Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts in CRM systems · Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments Work & Travel Expectations · This is a remote position with 25-50% travel · Travel includes meeting with current and prospective customers · Quarterly travel to company headquarters in New Jersey · Occasional travel to industry exhibitions and trade shows may be required Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in Business, Chemistry, or a related field preferred· Minimum of 1-2 years of sales experience, preferably in chemical distribution, industrial products, or B2B sales · Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills · Ability to understand technical product information and translate it into customer solutions · Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets · Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills · Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite · Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed Compensation & Benefits · Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package· Health Insurance: Medical, dental and vision coverage. · 401K: Company match up to 4%· Paid Time Off: 15 days PTO· Life Insurance: Company-paid policy· Employee Assistance Program (EAP)· Strong emphasis on a healthy work-life balance Requirements Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in Business, Chemistry, or a related field preferred · Minimum of 1-2 years of sales experience, preferably in chemical distribution, industrial products, or B2B sales · Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills · Ability to understand technical product information and translate it into customer solutions · Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets · Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills · Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite · Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed Compensation & Benefits · Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package · Health Insurance: Medical, dental and vision coverage. · 401K: Company match up to 4% · Paid Time Off: 15 days PTO · Life Insurance: Company-paid policy · Employee Assistance Program (EAP) · Strong emphasis on a healthy work-life balance
