You will be recognized as an influencer within the travel industry. You will demonstrate sales experience with a strong commercial aptitude and collaborative focus, so that cross-functional approaches are maximized for the execution of turning prospects into closed deals, through increasing strengths of relationships, internal collaboration and relevance of offerings.What You'll Do:Represent the value proposition of GBT/GBCSet and influence the strategic direction for bids - participate in RFP processParticipate in key prospect meetings & negotiations that will yield top-line growth for GBCBe fully accountable for driving the entire sales cycleBuild and maintain positive relationships with key internal partnersBuild, develop and maintain positive relationships with key external partnersSupport clients and provide a true consultative approach to make valuable contributions to their business travel needsUtilize strong negotiation skills, and compelling rationale to overcome barriers, objections or resistance to achieve mutually beneficial solutionsGains a commitment from the prospect to move forward by asking for the business and driving resultsWork and contribute in a close and connected team environmentIdentifiy client needs to configure, tackle and sell solutions that address requirements and deliver valueIdentifies, engages, influences and persuades internally and key decisions makers externallyWhat We're Looking For:Actively prospects to build a pipeline of opportunities, prioritizing by potential value, sales cycle length, and win probability:Demonstrated track record of client consultative sales success in a matrixed organizationOutstanding relationship management and consultative sales skills requiredYou possess a sophisticated ability to synthesize client needs, Find opportunities, drive growth and develop innovative, value‑add and client focused solutionsDemonstrates strong communication skills across a variety of mediums and audiencesYou are results focused, you demonstrates a competitive and positive attitudeYou can adapt quickly to different situations and recover quickly from setbacksA strong understanding of the external market; and In‑depth knowledge of the power of the GBC value propositionExperience or exposure in the corporate travel industry is highly preferredAbility to travel up to 30%Considering candidates virtually throughout the US - occasional travel will be requiredLocation United StatesThe US national annual base salary range for this position is from $46,000 to $93,000. The national range provided includes the base salary that GBT expects to pay for the role. Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for an annual Performance Based Incentive, which rewards participants based on company performance, one of our metric-driven Sales Incentive Plans (certain direct sales roles only), or one of our Client Management Incentive Award (CMIA) programs. An eligible employee can only participate in one of these plans during an eligible period.
