Join the Dynamic Disney Ad Sales Team as a Linear Sales Planner Disney Ad Sales' Revenue Management division is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Linear Sales Planner to join our Planning team! As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting a dedicated book(s) of business, managing the RFP process from proposal generation to order entry across assigned Disney brands (ESPN, FX, National Geographic, Freeform, Disney Kids, ABC) and business verticals. About Disney Ad Sales and the Revenue Management Division Disney Ad Sales is a leading advertising sales organization that partners with top brands to deliver engaging and effective advertising solutions across Disney's vast media portfolio. Our Revenue Management division is responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic planning, pricing, and optimization. As a Linear Sales Planner, you will be an integral part of this team, working closely with Sales, Revenue Management, and other stakeholders to deliver exceptional results. Key Responsibilities: Proposal and Deal Management: Support a dedicated book(s) of business, managing the RFP process from proposal generation to order entry, liability satisfaction, and deal closure in designated DAS systems. Customer Service and External Partnerships: Provide customer service across the life of the deal, partnering closely with Account Management and Ad Ops teams to ensure clean campaign execution and addressing client reporting needs. Deal Fulfillment and Internal Collaboration: Collaborate with internal departments from Research to Solutions to Traffic and Finance to ensure deal preferred handling/satisfaction, identifying means to best satisfy agency needs and maximize opportunity for DAS. Media Planning and Analysis: Manage daily maintenance of active deals, build media plans for Upfront and Scatter deals, and analyze campaign delivery to assign make-good inventory. Budgeting and Optimization: Execute budget revisions, including incremental spend, optimizations, makegoods, and cancellations, to maximize delivery against contracted goals. Communication and Relationship Building: Communicate effectively with agency contacts to address RFP deliverables and ad hoc requests, and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners. Essential Qualifications and Skills: Professional Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in media sales planning and/or buying; experience in the advertising industry is strongly preferred. Collaborative Mindset: An excitement to work in a collaborative Ad Sales team environment, with a positive demeanor and approach when handling day-to-day tasks. Problem-Solving and Multi-Tasking: An ability to effectively problem-solve and multi-task, with strong attention to detail and robust organizational skills. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to embody an eager-to-learn attitude and a drive to take on new responsibilities. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, with expertise in Excel and PowerPoint required; familiarity with sales systems and media math is advantageous. What We Offer: Competitive Compensation: The hiring range for this position is $74,000 to $90,400 per year, with a bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package.
