Sales Lead Coordinator (Summer Opportunity)

The Sales Lead Coordinator will support the Regional sales department by managing and qualifying sales leads, ensuring they are routed to the appropriate sales representatives, and enhancing departmental effectiveness.ResponsibilitiesOversee the intake and distribution of incoming leads from various sources (web, phone, email, etc.) ensuring timely follow-up and accurate documentationReview, assess, and qualify leads based on established criteria to ensure they meet the necessary standards pursuing sales opportunitiesReviews and responds accordingly to client and third-party requests. This includes, but is not limited to, contacting clients and third parties for additional information and returning messagesInitiates communications and follow up requirements to clients and appropriate parties to request or verify information as required. This includes following established department proceduresAudits and updates policy information on the broker management system to ensure accuracy of data and policiesMaintain and update the Broker Management System with accurate lead data and track lead progress through the sales pipelinePre-qualifies risks, obtains necessary information to finalize sales, follows up on expiry dates, screens and follows up on leads generated from marketing campaignsProcesses and distributes online quotesResponds to telephone inquiries and written requests from both internal and external stakeholdersIdentify opportunities for improving the lead qualification process, streamlining workflows, and enhancing overall efficiencyProvides quality service while adhering to customer service standards and keeps information confidential to protect operationsPerforms other duties within competence, as assignedSkillsA secondary school diplomaA Broker license is an assetA minimum of one year's experience in an office environmentA minimum of one year's experience in the insurance industry or a related fieldExceptional communication skills and the demonstrated ability to deal effectively with all levels of internal and external stakeholdersSuperior time management, project management and organizational skills to manage competing prioritiesIntermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications and experience with EPICThe ability to communicate in French and English is an assetBenefitsBest-in-class pension and benefitsTotal reward programsComprehensive mental wellness supportFlexible work-from-home and hybrid optionsOpportunities for advancementCompany OverviewAt OTIP, we not only understand the education system, we believe in it.
