Position Purpose
JCB currently has an opening for a Sales Engineer to support our distribution partners the assigned territory. The Sales Engineer will serve as the primary liaison between JCB, the local dealer and the customer.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities
• Develop sales opportunities with an agreed upon list of targeted accounts, soliciting new accounts, building rapport, providing technical information and explanations preparing quotes.
• Answer customer questions regarding products, prices, availability, product uses and policies.
• Ability to sell the JCB product and local dealer strengths, engaging with key stakeholders from the boardroom to the workshop.
• Fulfill requests promptly and accurately, in line with company and local dealer procedures.
• Manage pipeline with CRM tools at disposal.
• Consult with clients after contract signings to resolve issues and provide ongoing support.
• Provide periodic updates to JCB Product Sales Manager and Dealer Sales Managers.

Requirements
• Specific industry experience related to selling machinery. Training and support will be given on JCB products.
• Prior territory management experience preferred including.
• A highly organized individual, with experience in operational and collaborative CRM.
• High energy, excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic required.
• Leadership Skills.
• Self-Improvement skills and set high standards for personal performance.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to perform at a high capacity in fast paced environment.
• Must pass any drug screens and background checks.

Job Conditions
• Both office environment and occasionally manufacturing/factory environment
• Subject to noise and temperature changes

Minimum Qualifications
• BA in Business, B. Engineering or similar
• 2 + years sales, product marketing, engineering and/or customer support experience in the industry or similar
• Must pass any drug screens, background checks and pre-employment tests as applicable
