They are seeking an ambitious Sales Development Representative to generate and qualify new business leads while managing a pipeline of interested prospects.ResponsibilitiesGenerate and qualify new business leads by researching prospects, conducting outreach (calls, emails, LinkedIn, social media)Execute 50-100 activities per day (combination of cold outreach)Generate a minimum of two sales accepted leads per week (eight per month)Collect and collate lead data from sales campaignsDrive top-of-funnel activities like prospecting, lead generation, qualification, and pipeline managementBuild initial relationships and educate prospects about the company's value propositionManage a pipeline of interested prospects and record all activities in the CRM system to track account activities and progressWork closely with marketing (for lead quality) and Global Portfolio Leaders (GPLs) (for handoff) to align efforts and grow the sales pipeline, acting as a crucial bridge between marketing and salesSchedule discovery calls or product demos at conferences and tradeshowsResearch addressable market segments for Schrödinger’s software product and service offeringsExpand your knowledge of the industry and the competitive position of the companySkillsBachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Biology, or a related scienceOne to two years of relevant work experience in the software or services industryBenefitsHealthcare (with dental and vision)A 401kPre-tax commuter benefitsA flexible work scheduleA parental leave programOver a month of paid vacation timeCompany OverviewSchrödinger is a healthcare-based software company that develops molecular design software for biotech and materials research.
